 The Tandem Experience Festival 2010: Thursday 1st July Friday 2nd July 5:30pm - The very popular group ride led by Peter and Sarah Bird from The Tandem Experience to the Horseshoe Inn, Bridges, in the shadows of the Long Mynd, who will provide a Marquee and supper to order for all riders – Ride time in total approx 1 3/4 hours. 9:30pm onwards – Meet at the Six Bells at the bottom of the high street for a meet and greet. Saturday 3rd July 9:00am – 5:00pm - The Bishops Castle Tandem Triathlon - pre booked only, test ride tandems & rides available finishing off with presentations and the Ceilidh. 3.00pm – 5.00pm – NEW – Try Tandeming with Grass Track Tandem Racing our NEW FREE event behind the Tandem Hub, come along and have a go, Tandems available to use! All day – Tandem Clinic - Test rides - Treasure Hunts and organised rides also - Come along and meet the Tandem Club of the UK. 6:00pm onwards - The Prize giving outside the Hall 6:30pm onwards – Food available outside from the Ironbridge Catering Company, with background music from local musicians inside the Community Hall. 8:30pm - The Ceilidh with famous band 'This Way Up' will get you dancing all night – Beer brewed for us by the Six Bells - 'Double Vision' Sunday 4th July 9:00am to Midday - Leisure Centre open for swimming. 10:00am to 12:30pm - Tandemania – an entertaining gymkhana/it’s a Knockout on the grass field next to the Tandem Hub. 1:00pm - Ride in the Bishops Castle Carnival - Theme this year is to be confirmed and will finish at the recreation field for more entertainment. |
